Woffelsbach has been transformed from a small farm into a popular vacation resort with numerous recreational activities related to water and nature since the Rursee was enlarged in the mid-1950s and tourism began soon afterwards. Even though part of the area has fallen victim to the lake, many things worth seeing have been preserved, as we can see on our tour.
