Eifel-Blick "Hirschley"
Heimbach
The Hirschley is situated at an altitude of 512 metres above sea level. From here you have an impressive panoramic view of the Rursee and the steep slopes of the north bank.
You will find the Eifel View "Hirschley" in the barrier-free nature experience area Wilder Kermeter, which is located in the middle of the Eifel National Park on the Kermeter mountain ridge. There, old and young visitors with and without disabilities can experience the "ecological heart" of the National Park. Native red beech mixed forests grow over a large area on the ridge between Lake Rursee and Lake Urftsee. Situated in the middle of it all, the Wild Kermeter comprises a barrier-free network of paths.
Via Heimbach and Gemünd you reach the Eifel-Blick via the L 249. After you have "climbed" the Kermeter, change to the L 15 in the direction of Rursee/Schwammenauel and follow this for 3.5 km to the Kermeter car park. From here, follow the signs to "Hirschley" (approx. 2km).
