Bayrischer Burg Biergarten 1177
Nideggen
In the beer garden which seats around 200 people there are many bavarian delicacies like Brezn, Obazda, Weißwurst, Haxn and much more as well as the "not really bavarian" but extremely popular "Oskar's finest curry sausage" of course also with belgian fries. In addition there is real bavarian beer on tap but of course als tapped Kölsch and Pils and many other soft drinks, coffee and in the afternoon delicious cake.
And why a bavarian beer garden in the Rhineland in the Eifel? The gastronomic offer is otherwise very regional. But bavaria is simply the motherland of beer gardens with a special flair. And that's exactly the atmosphere you'll experience.
It's not just the specialities and the drinks that are part of the typical bavarian beer garden, it ist also the fitting. For example that it is no problem to bring your own sandwich to go with your beer and that you fetch your own food and drinks at the bar.
Incidentally 1177 is the name of the bavarian castle beer garden because Wilhelm ll. COunt of Jülich laid the foundation sstone for the castle of Nideggen in that year.
